College Application Assistance

Submitting college applications can be difficult for everyone. However, this challenge may be even greater for first-generation students, students from low-income families, and students with IEP or 504 plans.

At College Approach, we offer free application assistance to students who qualify. Our tutors attend highly-ranked universities, including Columbia University, NYU, Georgetown University, Brown University, and Northwestern University. In addition, our tutors have all scored above the 95th percentile on their standardized testing and maintain 3.5+ college GPAs. Finally, many of our volunteers are bilingual and can offer help to students who speak English as a second language.

College Approach is non-profit corporation filed in accordance with New Jersey State Law on 01/21/2020 and assigned identification number 0450455994. As of 03/16/2022, we are recognized as a tax-exempt organization by the IRS.

How Does it Work?

Please provide a brief summary of the areas you are most interested in receiving our help with. After reviewing your form, we will create a personalized plan for your success in the college application process.

Current college students who seek our services should visit the "College Tutoring" page, located in the search bar.

This program is open to first-generation students and students from low-income families. We are also happy to work with students who, due to other extenuating circumstances, do not have access to the support and resources they need to successfully apply to college. This latter group may include students with an IEP or 504 Plan who are unable to attend college information sessions at their high schools for disability-related reasons. If you are unsure about whether you qualify, please reach out!
