Zainab graduated from Rutgers University in 2022 with a B.S. in Biotechnology. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health; and hopes to focus on education and healthcare reform. At College Approach, Zainab helps high school students apply for financial aid through FAFSA. She also tutors current college students in STEM.
Georgia holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University, and is a J.D. candidate at Stanford Law School. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of College Approach, Georgia offers writing and LSAT tutoring. She also helps students with disabilities apply to college and request educational accommodations such as IEPs.
Technical Marketing Manager
A recent graduate from the College of Engineering at Cornell University, Vaish completed a research fellowship at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, worked with standardized testing datasets at Finetune Leaning, and interned at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. At College Approach, Vaish manages everything related to technology, marketing, and data.
Head of Social Media and Marketing
Abeer is a sophomore at Sabanci University, where she studies molecular biology, genetics and biomedical engineering. Abeer oversees three other interns in our Social Media and Marketing Department. With her team, she is developing a marketing strategy to improve outreach on social media and beyond.
Pranav is a Dean’s List student at Northwestern University, pursuing degrees in journalism and political science at the Medill School. Away from school, he’s a prize-winning freelance reporter, and formerly a nationally-decorated debater—ranked within the top five teams countrywide.
Dr. Barnes-Johnson is a progressive science educator interested in issues of equity in the science learning space. She has more than fifteen years experience in curriculum, assessment and professional development. She currently teaches at Princeton High School. Dr. Barnes-Johnson helps pair students with tutors from College Approach.
Ayesha is a special education teacher at Foundations Academy. She teaches Algebra and English at the high school level and is passionate about educational reform. Ayesha helps the College Approach team compile lists of relevant scholarships for their students. She is also knowledgable about the financial aid process and helps students appeal their decisions.
